Grew up in Sydney: sun, surf and motorcycles, science fiction, economics and the sciences. Hedonistic and alienated due to undiagnosed ADD I trekked the hippy trail in Asia, knocking my head but not understanding why I had no energy and such a restless intelligence; the only structure, solace and comfort I found was in big ideas. With the PC as prosthesis I got work as a IT consultant, trainer and passionate infomaniac. Markets attracted my interest and my study convinced me of two things, a major secular shift away from financial assets to commodities and precious metals was underway, one disguised by classic late empire credit bubble dynamics enabled by financial engineering, marketing and electronic networks. Peak everything is the real deal, for now. I made prescient investment decisions and then blew most of them up with impulsive unskilled trading. Wealth will need more prerequisites that I'm working on: self acceptance and belief, wellness, discipline and proper treatment of the ADD. What else will I need?
