Grew up in Sydney: sun, surf and motorcycles, science fiction, economics and the sciences. Hedonistic and alienated I trekked the hippy trail in Asia. Back home, I knocked my head out trying to be what I was not. Turned to the PC and got a few breaks and work as an IT consultant and trainer. Markets attracted my interest: my research convinced me of two things, a major secular shift away from financial assets to commodities and precious metals was underway, disguised by classic credit bubble dynamics enabled like never before by financial engineering, marketing and electronic networks and that peak oil was the real deal. I made brilliant investment decisions and subsequently blew nearly all of them up with reckless and inept trading. New discovery! A prerequisite for financial and emotional wealth is self acceptance and belief, physical well being, mental flexibility and passion.
