: Name: kevin mckern; Location: Ashfield, New South Wales, Australia

Grew up in Sydney: sun, surf and motorcycles, science fiction, economics and the sciences. Hedonistic, alienated I trekked the hippy trail in Asia then knocked my head out trying to be what I was not. Turned to the PC and got few breaks and work as an IT consultant, trainer and infomaniac. Markets attracted my interest: research convinced me of two things, a major secular shift away from financial assets to commodities and precious metals was underway, disguised by classic late empire credit bubble dynamics enabled like never before by financial engineering, marketing and electronic networks and that peak everything was the real deal. I made brilliant investment decisions and subsequently blew half of them up with reckless trading. A prerequisite to wealth is self acceptance and belief, physical well being, mental flexibility and discipline. Better late than never, I guess.
